    What are marijuana infused edibles?

They are various foods (candy, spreads, chocolate, etc.) that have extracted THC or CBD mixed directly in with the ingredients. Our edibles all contain 100% non-BHO hash oil. We never put actual marijuana buds into our foods.

How does consuming a marijuana edible or tincture differ from smoking marijuana?

The THC gets absorbed differently. An edible gets broken down in the stomach and absorbed in the intestines. Depending on your metabolism (as everyone’s is different) determines how quickly it takes effect. Typically anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours and lasting up to hours later. A tincture is usually taken sublingually(under the tongue), you’ll start to feel it faster than an edible but a little slower than if you had smoked. Smoking marijuana will effect you in minutes (5-15) depending on the strength of the strain.

    How much should I eat?

Every person’s metabolism is different. So we can’t tell you how much to eat, we can recommend you start slow. A single piece or even half a piece is a good start. Remember, an edible can take up to 2 hours to begin working. TinctureBelle’s marijuana edibles are easily broken into individual doses, be it recreational or medical, with recreational edibles having the lowest active cannabinoid dose per serving (10mg). If after a couple hours you still don’t feel anything, you should be safe to eat more. But be aware how much you’re eating!

How long does it take a marijuana edible to effect me?

Anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Consuming a marijuana edible on an empty stomach will hit you faster than on a full stomach. Always start with a low dose and give a couple hours before eating more. The last thing we want is for you to have a bad time.

    Can I overdose on edibles?

Not literally, but if you eat too much it may feel like you are. It’s up to you, as a responsible adult, to know how much you are eating. All of our packaging is clearly labeled with the amount of active cannabinoid contained in each serving and bar. Some people keep CBD rich marijuana products or flower on hand as this can somewhat lessen the paranoid and panicky feeling that is associated with over indulging. Other symptoms can include increased heart rate and dry-mouth. Just try and stay calm. Some people have admitted themselves to the hospital after over doing it. DO NOT DRIVE.

Can a normal candy bar be confused with a Cannabis Candy Bar?

Yes and No. There are cannabis companies out there that make a product with virtually no marijuana taste. TinctureBelle’s cannabis edibles have enough of a marijuana taste that you know you’re not eating a normal candy bar. Our future products will be stamped with the letters THC so there won’t be any confusion. Our edibles come in child-safe packaging but should be kept out of the reach of children.

How do Marijuana Infused topicals work?

Our Spa Essentials line of products (Canna Bath, Canna Soap, and Medicated Lotion) all contain 100% Hash Oil made using TinctureBelle grown full flower buds. They work by being absorbed through the skin and binding to a series of receptors that are found throughout the body – CB2 receptors.

They are great for muscle pain, sore back, skin problems and almost anything else related to strained or irritated muscles. Our topicals can also be used for various skin conditions, from simple dry red patches to eczema and psoriasis. TinctureBelle soaps and soaks help with these as well.
